Dr Sabita's self-motivation and dedication have struck me throughout the time I have known her. She was the principal investigator for a qualitative study on living with bronchial asthma among patients in a hill village in Nepal. Her research paper entitled ‘Risk Perception and Hesitancy Toward COVID-19 Vaccination Among Healthcare Workers and Staff at a Medical College in Nepal’ was recently published (June 2021) in the journal Risk Management and Healthcare Policy which has received 84 citations in a short time. Dr. Sabita has guided undergraduate students as a mentor and guide.
